Yes, as long as it is setup correctly. If whitehouse.gov, Time magazine and Meta can can be running different parts of their organization on WordPress, then yes, as long as it’s setup properly, then you’ll foundationally be in a good spot.
Yes, we carefully setup your WordPress environment to allow for ease of editing to by default. For any dynamic content or repeatable pages templates, we optimize the structure into a simple true-source area of editing where you can edit it one place, and it pushes to the several spots it displays.
Yes! And others mentioned above as well.
The right answer to this is based on your current content workflow and future GTM plan. Depending on if you’ll be driving heavy traffic to your website and or concurrent users interacting with key parts or functionality of your site, then if could support going headless, but if you don’t need it and only adds more resources to deliver it, then leave it out and use native WordPress for your content and display.
Honestly, WordPress is not a good solution if it’s not setup properly. Imagine if it were setup using a very old framework that didn’t have automatic updates, had old plugins there were not updated and a number of obvious elements that any CMS wouldn’t benefit from then, yes it’s not a good solution. And leaning on the other side of things, if the CMS is setup with the latest framework, code is developed in a proper way, dynamic content is supported through the right module creation and security & monitoring is running, then WordPress can be an excellent solution.
Yes. There are benefits to leveraging WordPress as the core framework for your web app from staying lean on the initial build to leveraging existing components that don’t need to be rebuilt to one of the largest communities of plugins that can help fuel some of the functionality needed and then leverage custom web development & coding for the rest.
