Massport CAC

About Massport CAC

The Massport Community Advisory Committee is a State agency comprised of thiry-five communities surrounding Greater Boston and including the City of Worcester. They were created in 2014 by the Massachusetts Legislature in the amended 1956 Enabling Act that established Massport, to represent the interests of the communities impacted by Massport’s operations. Their mission is to be the voice of communities impacted by Massport operations and collaboratively offer local, regional, and national solutions through advocacy, information and Authority oversight.

How GoingClear Helped

GoingClear worked with the Massport CAC committee members to focus first on a brand logo refresh to help position their modern and clear approach to how they help their communities. As the refreshed brand logo was approved, we then moved into wireframing and website page layouts to confirm the most valuable page flows for their users. Then moving into high-fidelity web page designs to nail the direction, look and feel. In addition, we developed an interactive website library, events and documents search feature which allowed for advanced filtering and sorting functionality. A careful approach to mapping documents to events and also tying back to a centralized library was key to allow their website users to interact and find public documents required by the state of Massachusetts to log, display and remain searchable.

About Massport CAC

The Massport CAC (Community Advisory Committee) is a State agency comprised of thirty-five communities surrounding Greater Boston and including the City of Worcester. Its mission is to be the voice of communities impacted by Massport operations.

How GoingClear Helped

After a careful and proper discovery and web strategy phase together with the Massport CAC, we were able to structure a website road map plan. This set the stage for a user-friendly interface, engagement with key audience types, and a sharp, clean website interface that communicates events, news, public meetings, training and important related public documents via an online library. In addition, the new Massport CAC website is fully mobile and tablet friendly with the Bootstrap framework for a very tight multi-device user-experience as well leveraging an admin-friendly content management system.

MWRA Advisory Board

About MWRA Advisory Board

For over thirty years, the Advisory Board for MWRA Communities has worked diligently to advocate for MWRA ratepayers and communities. From continuous in depth review of the Authority’s financials, to shaping major capital project decisions saving millions of dollars, as well as recommending common sense approaches to MWRA policies and procedures, the Advisory Board views itself as a “constructive critic” helping the Authority to better achieve its core mission.

How GoingClear Helped

GoingClear partnered with the Massachusettes Water Resources Authority’s Advisory Board to design and develop a community facing and content-rich website. Part of the key components were a dynamic rate calculator integration per each Massachusetts city or town as well as an advanced calendar of events and document library that allows easy access to key documents community members needed.

HP Federal Executive Board

About HP Federal Executive Board

The Honolulu-Pacific Federal Executive Board (HPFEB) was established in 1966 and is hosted by the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. The Federal Executive Boards (FEBs), established by Presidential Directive in 1961, are a forum for communication and collaboration among Federal agencies outside of Washington, DC. The Honolulu-Pacific Federal Executive Board promotes and delivers programs and services related to Emergency Readiness, Employee Safety and Security, Workforce Development and Support, and Strategic Partnerships.

How GoingClear Helped

It was a privilege for GoingClear to work with the Honolulu-Pacific Federal Executive Board (HPFEB) to design and develop their new website. The previous HPFEB website had been damaged for over a year due to security and technical obsolescence issues. The new site is now hosted on a secure platform and meets all of the current security and privacy standards for federal government websites as well as accessibility. For HPFEB, their website’s primary goal is to disseminate information of interest to federal agencies and employees, reducing the need to distribute multiple files to large distribution lists as was previously done. There are a lot of informative pages on the new website including an Events & Training page with an interactive calendar, a Sign In page to the Portal Login for primary and alternate members, and a searchable News & Announcements page. There are also numerous new features like interactive sliders, social media integration, RSS feed capability for announcements and events, and a customized back-end that allows HPFEB to assign internal or external links as well as types of files to include for open or download. GoingClear is honored and proud to have worked with a board that helps ensure an effective and efficient government, and serves the citizens of the Hawaii-Pacific Area.
